THE PINKMERIDIAN

A visceral collision of velocity and restraint—coral gestures rupture a nocturnal field while cool baby sky blue lines cut through the movement with deliberate, almost calligraphic control.

Not a quiet image.
A controlled event.

Against a near-black ground, a saturated coral movement enters with force: splashed, poured, flicked and dragged across the surface. The marks read as impact, acceleration and pulse—an instant made physical.

Threading through that heat are cooler baby sky blue lines: lighter, sharper and almost calligraphic. They cross, interrupt and redirect the red, building a tension between instinct and structure, eruption and control.

Immersive view of The Pink Meridian
01 · Force

Gesture becomes impact.

The coral field does not politely occupy the surface. It arrives. Long trajectories, broken droplets and loaded passages give the work a physical sense of speed.

02 · Counterpoint

Cool lines resist.

Baby sky blue incisions move differently: narrow, deliberate, tensile. They act as counterweight, turning raw motion into composition.

03 · Afterimage

The eye keeps moving after the mark stops.

From across a room it reads as an explosion. Up close, it resolves into layers, edges, raised texture and small decisions embedded in the paint.

Pink Meridian

Surface
is evidence.

The angled photograph exposes what the frontal view only suggests: physical texture, accumulated pigment, minute craters, irregular edges and visible depth within the gestures.

01

Raised pigment

The coral passages carry tactile variation, catching light differently across the painted surface.

02

Interrupted line

Cool baby sky blue strokes cross, break and rejoin, creating an architectural tension within the broader gesture.

03

Near-black ground

The field functions as negative space and depth, intensifying the warmth and apparent luminosity of the coral.

Heat moves first.
Structure arrives
a fraction later.
